Accessibility statement
At Christie, we believe everyone deserves access to information and communication. We’re committed to digital accessibility and working on ensuring our website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and AA criteria and to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)’s effective communication requirements, and other applicable regulations.
To assist us in these efforts, we’ve engaged eSSENTIAL Accessibility Inc., a third-party service provider. Their accessibility program evaluates our website on an ongoing basis in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies. The platform, moreover, goes beyond minimum compliance requirements by making an assistive customer experience (CX) technology application available to website users who have trouble typing, gesturing, moving a mouse, or reading. The application is free to download, and it incorporates tools such as mouse and keyboard replacements, voice recognition, speech enablement, hands-free/touch-free navigation, and more.
Integrated Accessibility Standards (IASR)
The following standards were developed by Christie to break down barriers and increase accessibility for persons with disabilities in the areas of information, communications and employment.
Our multi-year accessibility plan is a tool for Christie to communicate its accessibility initiatives internally and to the public. Upon request, Christie Digital will provide a copy of this plan in an accessible format.
