How can I apply to Christie® Co-op opportunities?
Contact your University or College Co-op Services department and apply on-line to their job board.
What schools do you hire from?
We hire from University of Waterloo, Conestoga College, University of Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier University, McMaster University, and Western University to name a few and are open to new programs and post-secondary schools.
What types of opportunities are at Christie?
We hire for various engineering positions in software, systems, mechanical and electrical, as well as marketing and supply chain. We offer placements ranging from 4, 8, 12 and 16 months.
When do you recruit students?
Christie’s co-op intake occurs in January, May, and September depending on business needs. Applicant screening and interviewing typically takes place 4 months before the expected start date with offers following shortly thereafter. It is important to work with your University or College co-op Services department to ensure you qualify and meet the deadlines.
Where are you located?
Our Kitchener office is located at 809 Wellington St. N. and we are accessible by Grand River Transit bus route #34.
What type of work will I be doing as a co-op?
Christie offers students the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects by making valuable contributions at a level comparable to new graduates. Working with leading-edge technology in an advanced manufacturing setting, you will develop practical skills with hands-on learning in engineering labs and the rapid prototyping centre.
What type of work environment can I expect?
We have a collaborative and team oriented workplace and welcome you to participate in the onsite fitness centre, wellness programs, social and community events, and company garden.
