BANGKOK – Christie® is proud to announce its role as the official projection partner for CineAsia 2024, where it will showcase its industry-leading cinema solutions. Taking place at True Icon Hall from December 9-12, this annual convention provides an ideal platform to demonstrate Christie’s cutting-edge technologies, designed to deliver awe-inspiring moviegoing experiences across all screen sizes.
As the official projection partner, Christie will deploy its advanced yet cost-effective CP4425-RGB and CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors for screenings and presentations in Theatres 11 and 12 respectively. At booth #302, attendees can explore a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art CineLife+™ Series cinema projectors, featuring diverse illumination sources to meet exhibitors’ varied needs.

Headlining the booth are the CP4455-RGB and CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors, ideal for premium large-format auditoriums, along with the CP2420-RGB, designed for mainstream theatres. Leveraging ultra-fast Series 4 processing electronics and Real|Laser™ illumination, these projectors deliver exceptional image quality with an industry-leading color gamut and contrast. All three models feature long-lasting light sources providing over 50,000 hours of stable DCI brightness. Additionally, they are compatible with Christie Mystique™ Cinema, a fully integrated dual projection DCI-compliant auto-calibration software that ensures seamless blending, focus, and color correction.
Also on display is the new CP2406-RBe projector, a 2K-resolution, 6,000-lumen projector featuring Phazer™ illumination technology and Christie’s new CineLife+2K™ electronics platform. Ideal for boutique cinemas and smaller screens, it delivers exceptional image performance. The CP2406-RBe is 200-300% more energy efficient than Xenon projectors, achieving annual energy savings of up to 75%. It’s also designed for easy setup, with auto-configuration, a motorized lens mount, and integrated electronic color convergence (ECC) for perfect color alignment.
Attendees can catch the Christie CP2409-RBe projector in action, paired with the IMB-S4 integrated media block, during live demonstrations on Tuesday, December 10, in Theatre 8 during tradeshow hours. The IMB-S4 is a cost-effective, feature-rich media server equipped with ultra-fast CineLife+ processing electronics. It supports 4K playback at 96fps, integrates seamlessly with the CineLife+ web UI, and is fully compatible with all major Theatre Management Systems, ensuring smooth and efficient content delivery.
Rounding out this showcase is the CP4420-Xe, a DCI-compliant cinema projector offering impressive 4K resolution and a 22,000-lumen output. Equipped with CineLife+ electronics processing and an intuitive user interface, it ensures seamless operation and smooth playback up to 120fps. The CP4420-Xe stands out for its superior reliability and extended lamp life, thanks to genuine Xenolite® Ultimate Performance lamps, delivering consistent brightness and exceptional image quality while maintaining low operating costs.
