Official launch of Christie's 2K RealLaser cinema projectors
The main highlight is the official launch of the Christie CP2315-RGB and CP2320-RGB pure laser cinema projectors, providing exhibitors with the latest innovations in RGB pure laser technology at a cost of ownership comparable to Xenon. Featuring CineLife™ electronics and RealLaser™ illumination, these 2K resolution, compact, all-in-one DCI-compliant projector models excel in image quality and operational lifetime, while providing a low cost of ownership.
Visitors can view static displays of both projectors or participate in live demonstrations of the CP2315-RGB in a custom-built internal theater at the booth, and experience how Christie's fully integrated RealLaser illumination technology can accurately and efficiently produce light for mainstream cinema applications, outperforming any cinema projector in its class with far superior image quality and higher contrast ratios.
Also on show is the CP4325-RGB, Christie's first RealLaser cinema projector which has become the frontrunner of the industry's RGB projection solutions. Similar to its newer 2K siblings, the 4K-capable CP4325-RGB boasts an innovative, patented and all-in-one, direct-coupled RGB illumination system.
Unmatched cinema sound experience with Christie Vive Audio
Christie® Vive Audio™ combines planar ribbon drivers, line array speaker design and Class D amplification to provide an unmatched cinema sound experience. Since its introduction, Vive Audio has been installed in over 1,000 auditoriums around the world, including Showtime Cinemas' Shulin and Wenxin multiplexes located in New Taipei City and Taichung respectively.
Making its debut at CineAsia is the S118LP, a new S Series subwoofer model that's ideal for cinema LFE (Low Frequency Effects). Featuring a low profile design, the S118LP offers improved performance and greater installation versatility, with a depth of just 15.5 inches (394mm), enabling installs in a wider range of environments than typical subwoofers. It also utilizes a newly developed, high performance 18-inch driver, with dual 4-inch voice coils, integrated into a heavily braced, ported cabinet design, featuring EBS (Extended Bass Shelf) tuning down to 23Hz.
Visitors can check out a static display of the S118LP at the booth, or engage in live demonstrations of this subwoofer in the custom-built internal theater, accompanied by accurate reproduction of high dynamic range and high resolution DCI-specified audio using the LS1 line source loudspeakers and LS1S surround loudspeakers.
Brighter, longer-lasting digital cinema Xenon lamps
Rounding out the impressive showcase is the display of Christie Xenolite lamps that offer extreme reliability, consistency and long lamp life paired with Christie digital cinema projection solutions. Utilizing the latest in Xenon lamp technology to provide increased brightness, improved stability and a longer life span, Christie's Superior Performance (SP) Xenolite lamps offers more captivating 2D and 3D experiences, without a cost to overall lamp performance.
Christie SP Xenolite lamps are brighter and last 30% longer than existing Xenon lamps, whilst offering the same extraordinary 99.999% in-cinema uptime. This means that users can obtain more stable brightness, reliability and usable hours with their investment, as well as longer warranties and fewer lamp replacements that lead to a lower cost of operation and less maintenance.
