Christie to showcase new 1DLP projector at IAAPA Expo

ORLANDO, Fla.— A range of AV technology for the attractions industry, including the North American debut of a new 1DLP laser projector, and LED video walls managed by Pandoras Box® Software, will be on display in the Christie® booth, #1059, at IAAPA Expo 2024 from November 19-22 at the Orlando Convention Center. 

The new Jazz Series of 1DLP laser projectors launches on November 19, and the DWU2400-JS model will be on display at the show. It features 23,750 lumens, Texas Instruments’ new 0.8” HEP DMD chip, and a compact chassis that weighs only 64.8lbs (29.4kg). It will projection map “Cathedral of Thieves”, a beautifully intricate and eye-catching sculpture with 13 layers of laser-cut wood by Gabriel Schama Studios, with 3D digital light artwork by artist collective Limelight Art.

LED solutions, including Christie MicroTiles® LED and Core Series III, will be prominently featured in the booth. Attendees can learn how to quickly and easily manage content for the displays via Christie’s award-winning Pandoras Box® Software.

Attendees can see Christie technology in action elsewhere on the show floor. Image Engineering, in booth #854 will include a 4K22-HS 1DLP laser projector featuring Christie BoldColor+ technology, and Red Raion, in booth #671, will use an 86-inch Secure Series LCD display. Christie is also supporting the TEA with three LCD displays for multiple spaces during IAAPA Expo, one of which will be on their booth, #1869.
