Christie to showcase smart tech at InfoComm India

MUMBAI – Christie® is set to showcase an impressive array of smart technologies at InfoComm India 2024, taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC) from September 3-5. Visitors can expect a dynamic display of cutting-edge solutions designed to deliver unforgettable experiences.

At booth C01, Christie will feature its latest innovations in RGB pure laser projection, direct-view LED, powerful projection software tools, and advanced content management and processing capabilities. These leading-edge technologies empower users to create and deliver exhilarating visual experiences, making them ideal for a variety of applications, including immersive spaces in museums and large-scale projection mapping.

Unleashing brilliance with RGB pure laser projection

Demonstrating its expertise in high-brightness projections, two stacked Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projectors will deliver bright and vivid visuals on a large screen. With 50,000 lumens of brightness and native 4K resolution, this omnidirectional projector is perfect for demanding large-venue applications. It offers ‘all-in’ connectivity and remote-controlled electronic color convergence (ECC) for easy color alignment. The Griffyn 4K50-RGB also sets the standard in energy efficiency, consuming just 13.2 lumens per watt, making it one of the most efficient projectors in its class.

Experience the future of LED video walls

Building on Christie’s reputation for cutting-edge LED technology, the high-value chip-on-board Christie Lumia series of indoor LED video walls is making its debut in India. Tailored specifically for the local market, this series offers a range of pixel pitches from 0.78mm to 1.56mm, delivering outstanding versatility. With a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 160-degree ultra-wide viewing angle, energy-efficient operation, and flexible installation options, the Lumia Series stands out as the ideal choice for diverse applications.

Other Christie’s LED video wall solutions on display include the Core Series III, which has secured a strong market share in India due to its exceptional performance and versatility. Featured in a 6-by-6 array with 0.9mm LED tiles, it boasts a user-friendly direct-mount system for easy handling and installation. The Core Series III also offers redundant on-board power and front-serviceability, enhancing practicality and simplifying maintenance—making it ideal for various installations, from corporate lobbies to digital signage.

For those seeking the most advanced LED display technology, the award-winning MicroTiles® LED is the perfect choice. Visitors can experience vivid, life-like images on a 10-by-5 array video wall with a 0.75mm pixel pitch, they can also explore the flexibility of our proprietary QuickMount™ system by effortlessly mounting or dismounting individual tiles on a separate 3-by-1 display. MicroTiles LED supports HDR-10 and P3 color space, with patented software ensuring the wall remains calibrated at 97 percent or greater uniformity.

Jazz Series makes India debut

Another highlight will be the debut of the new Jazz Series 1DLP® laser projector in India with a fascinating 3D wood art mapping display titled “Cathedral of Thieves”. This stunning display utilizes the 23,750-lumen Christie DWU2400-JS, featuring Texas Instruments’ 0.8” HEP DMD for enhanced color and contrast, along with an improved cooling system design. The Jazz Series delivers high-brightness projection in a compact form factor, ensuring sharp and dynamic images. The Jazz series also supports 21:9 aspect ratio signals, making it ideal for large conferencing setups and side-by-side document collaboration. Additional highlights include built-in Christie Twist, compatibility with Christie Mystique and Christie Intelligent Camera, and a five-year warranty, providing complete peace of mind. 

Be wowed by interactive, immersive room

Christie’s commitment to creating immersive experiences shines through with an interactive room installation featuring content developed by Knownsense Studios. This setup employs six Christie Inspire Series DWU960ST-iS 1DLP laser projectors paired with the powerful Pandoras Box Software. Visitors will be transported into vivid, lifelike environments projected onto the walls and floor, with the content dynamically responding to their movements for an engaging immersive journey.

Outside the room, two Christie M 4K25 RGB pure laser projectors will project stunning visuals onto two window screens, enhancing the overall impact. With an impressive brightness of 25,300 lumens and a compact form factor, the versatile M 4K25 RGB offers exceptional installation flexibility, operating in any orientation. It is also compatible with lenses from the original M Series, J, and Crimson Series, providing added cost-efficiency.

Image processing with Hedra and Pandoras Box 

Take control of mission-critical operations or command centers with the Christie Hedra video wall processor, offering a secure, all-in-one control room solution. It can flexibly arrange, view, and manage nine inputs, sources, and streams with a secure, latency-free operation on canvases of up to 16MP. Ideal for small to medium-sized video walls, Hedra enables quick, informed decisions with real-time data access that can be controlled from virtually anywhere.

The mesmerizing visuals showcased across the booth are made possible by Christie’s advanced content management solutions. Harness the power of Pandoras Box Software and Widget Designer, which together provide comprehensive control over the entire workflow, maximizing efficiency and unlocking boundless creative potential to deliver breathtaking visual experiences.

Christie joins InfoComm India Summit

Christie will be part of the InfoComm India Summit with a presentation titled “Illuminating Stories: The Role of Projection Technology in Immersive Experiences.” Scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, at 2:40 p.m. in Room 104B at JWCC, this session will be led by Chris Kee, executive director of Global Product Management, Enterprise, Christie. The presentation will delve into how cutting-edge projection technologies—such as high-brightness projectors, laser projection, and projection mapping—can elevate storytelling and create captivating environments.
