Enhanced engineering meets industry-leading innovation
On May 16, 2022, we announced our acquisition of assets from Brass Roots Technologies LLC, a technology innovation company specializing in consulting and the engineering design of advanced optics and electronics for high-performance display and imaging systems. All current employees of Brass Roots Technologies are now at Christie and operations remain in Allen, Texas, under the Christie name.
For more than 90 years, Christie has brought great technology to life. From the first projectors we built in the 1960s to that time our digital cinema projection revolutionized the movie industry, we lead the way. We create a legacy of light, and our customers use that light to create brilliant shared experiences.
Since 2009, Brass Roots Technologies has continually been at the forefront of innovation, developing critical technologies that advance imaging and display solutions to an entirely new level. By joining Christie, the BRT staff enhance our engineering offering with unbeatable skill sets – from optical design and analysis and in-house CNC fabrication to countless display technologies including DLP, LCD, LCoS projection systems, LED video walls, digital projection optical systems, lenses, and ultra-high frame rate projection.
