Christie elevates cinema experience at Big Cine Expo

MUMBAI – Christie^® is set to elevate the cinema experience with its continued partnership with Big Cine Expo 2024, taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Center (NESCO), September 30 to October 1.

As the event’s official technology partner for the seventh consecutive year, Christie will showcase its cutting-edge cinema technologies designed to enhance audience engagement and optimize box-office performance for cinema chains and theater owners. Attendees will experience mesmerizing visuals from Christie CineLife+™ Series cinema projectors, including the India debut of the new CineLife+ RBe projectors with Phazer™ illumination technology. These projectors provide advanced capabilities and excellent image performance for small, high-gain screen cinemas.

The convention’s screening theatre will feature two Christie CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors, delivering brilliant, true-to-life imagery for screenings and presentations. Additionally, static displays of the CP4435-RGB and CP2420-RGB pure laser cinema projectors will be available at Christie’s booth (#209) on the show floor. These models are equipped with ultra-fast Series 4 processing electronics and Christie’s Real|Laser™ illumination technology, which offer impressive energy efficiency, resulting in significant cost savings and reduced carbon emissions.

Delegates can also explore the CP2406-RBe, a 2K-resolution, 6,000-lumen projector featuring Christie’s new CineLife+ 2K electronics platform. Both a static display and a live model of the CP2406-RBe will be showcased in the booth. Ideal for boutique cinemas and small screen displays, this high-value model delivers exceptional image performance.

Christie’s participation at Big Cine Expo 2024 includes a speaking engagement titled “Cost Effective High Dynamic Range Projection using Standardized Content”, which demonstrates Christie’s technological and thought leadership. To be delivered by Kanwal Brar, the 30-minute session will be conducted at the convention’s screening theatre on Monday, September 30, at 11:45 a.m.
