Christie’s RealLaser™ RGB pure laser cinema projectors and the Christie® Vive Audio™ sound system will be displayed at Expocine 2019 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in São Paulo, Brazil, October 1-4. The showcase will demonstrate how Christie’s cinema projection and audio solutions support exhibitors’ long-term strategies with a strong return on investment, while also enabling them to deliver the best shared experiences for movie-goers.
“We are very excited that visitors at Expocine can experience both Christie’s RGB pure laser cinema projectors and Vive Audio high performance cinema system – the combination offers the sharpest images and unequalled sound in the cinema environment,” said Ricardo Laporta, territory sales manager, Cinema, Christie Brazil.
Christie’s booth at Expocine (Suite 5) will be fitted with a 25-seat theater featuring the latest trailer content projected in stunning, colorful detail with the Christie CP2315-RGB, a 2K-resolution, 13,500-lumen RGB pure laser cinema projector known for its compact, all-in-one form factor and low cost of ownership.
“We are delighted to see strong interest and adoption of our next-generation RGB pure laser cinema projectors among exhibitors across Brazil and in other parts of South America,” said Laporta. “Exhibitors recognize the advantages of Christie’s proprietary RealLaser illumination platform - which is now more affordable for mainstream cinema exhibitions and is a replacement for lamp-based projection illumination.”
Visitors to the cinema room at Christie’s booth (Suite 5) will experience the rich and dynamic sound of the Christie Vive Audio LA1 screen channel loudspeakers, S115 and S118LP subwoofers and LA3S surround loudspeakers for a complete cinematic experience.
The theater will also be fitted with a 5.5 x 2.3 meter Severtson white screen and Christie’s partner TMPC will provide seating.
Christie will also exhibit four FHD492-XB LCD flat panels in portrait configuration for digital signage in cinema lobbies. Manufactured in Brazil and rounded out with local service and support for complete peace of mind, these ultra-narrow bezel panels are targeted for 24/7 use in digital signage applications and deliver a superior tiled experience and performance at a low cost of ownership.Christie LCD technology throughout the booth
