Christie’s tailored cinema solutions at CineEurope 2022

BARCELONA, Spain – Christie^® will showcase its industry-leading cinema technologies designed to meet the needs of every screen size at CineEurope, taking place June 20-23 at Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB). A selection from Christie’s range of Xenon, RGBe and Real|Laser^™ projectors, and new Cinergy theatre management platform, will be available to view in MR 134, as will Christie Vive Audio^™ and Christie CounterAct^™, with Care222^® - the world’s first UVC disinfection technology with proprietary optical filter that can be used when people are present.

RGB pure laser projection to wow audiences

Christie Real|Laser illuminated projectors deliver premium movie-going experiences by setting a new standard in image quality – with the most expansive colour gamut and contrast of any technology – and the lowest total cost of ownership. On show at CineEurope, featuring Real|Laser and CineLife+^™ is the CP4435-RGB, which is perfect for mainstream theatres with its long-lasting light source providing over 50,000 hours of stable DCI brightness. The CP2315-RGB which also delivers RGB pure laser illumination, will also be on display along with the CP4450-RGB featuring Christie Mystique^™ Cinema, a fully built-in dual projection DCI-compliant auto-calibration image alignment software for seamless blending in seconds. Also available to view is the CP2306-RGBe DCI-compliant projector, which features enhanced RGB laser illumination, CineLife™ electronics and provides improved colour gamut, brightness, contrast, and operational life in an affordable projection platform for smaller screens.

Highly dependable Xenon projectors

Christie’s CP4420-Xe cinema projector will be on show for the first time in Europe. Featuring 4k technology with CineLife+™ electronics. As the only 4K projector on the market that supports 4K at high frame rates utilizing dependable Xenolite® lamps, it delivers long-term brightness and excellent image performance with the lowest operating costs in its class.

The most advanced theatre management platform

Meet up with representatives from Christie Professional Services to learn more about Cinergy, Christie’s new cloud-based product agnostic theatre management platform currently monitoring over 26,000 screens and 60,000 devices. With Cinergy, theatre operators can:

A Christie CounterAct unit will also be on display at MR 134. CounterAct is a line of commercial UV disinfection fixtures with patented Care222^® far-UVC light technology that effectively reduces 99% of pathogens while people are present.
