BANGALORE, India – Christie® is pleased to announce that its lineup of indoor LED video walls has continued to gain strong market share across various vertical segments in India due to their high-performance, versatility, and flexibility.
Over the last 12 months, about 50 large-sized video walls with pixel pitches of less than 2mm have been installed in corporate, financial, healthcare, hospitality, information technology, medical, and oil and gas facilities, as well as educational and government institutions. They consist of Christie’s full featured, high-value LED solutions such as the award-winning MicroTiles® LED and affordable Core Series II, which are the perfect choice for branding, information sharing, entertainment or digital signage applications.
“We are seeing strong demand for direct-view LED video walls post-COVID-19 as businesses and organizations resume their operations on-site whilst seeking high impact and dependable options to engage and entertain customers with spectacular viewing experiences,” said Rishubh Nayar, sales director for India, Enterprise, Christie. “Our full range of direct-view LED solutions are designed to help clients bring their vision to reality, and we are heartened that they have become the preferred choice of clients for a wide variety of applications, thanks to their modern aesthetics, superior visuals and performance, installation flexibility and low maintenance.”
Companies that have recently chosen Christie’s LED video wall solutions include information technology giants Cognizant, DXC Technology, Infosys and Wipro, Swiss multinational F&B conglomerate Nestlé, British multinational oil and gas company Shell, American-Swiss medical company Alcon, international hotel chain Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, as well as several American multinational corporations with a significant presence in India. These video walls are deployed in network operation centers, town hall spaces, meeting rooms and cafeterias for systems monitoring, information sharing and collaborative purposes.
Christie’s LED video wall solutions are ideal for digital signage applications that engage visitors with adaptable, dynamic content. The lobbies of aircraft manufacturer Boeing in New Delhi, luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz’s factory in Pune, and an American multinational financial institution in Bangalore have been fitted with Christie’s Apex, CorePlus and Merit Series video walls respectively, delivering eye-catching visuals that delight and amaze both guests and employees alike.
Government, educational, financial institutions and museum spaces in India have also readily embraced Christie’s dynamic and engaging LED solutions over the past year. Vigyan Bhawan, a premier conference center of the Indian Government in New Delhi, technical and research institute IIT Indore in Madhya Pradesh, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in Pusa, and the State Bank of India (SBI) in Kolkata have installed a total of seven large-sized Christie Merit Series video walls within their premises. Additionally, the Statue of Unity Museum in Gujarat has deployed the CorePlus video walls with a pixel pitch of 2.5mm to provide memorable shared experiences.
“From premium options for critical viewing and Active 3D applications to more budget-friendly solutions for high-impact installations, we work closely with all clients every step of the way to map out a solution to fully realize their vision,” said Nayar. “I’m pleased to note that Christie still holds the record for one of the largest indoor LED walls in India that’s made up of 370 Christie Apex Series Gen 2 LED tiles at one of the most prestigious public sector enterprises, which is used for monitoring purposes.”
Besides performance, reliability, and installation flexibility of Christie’s LED solutions, Indian clients are also attracted to a number of value-added features such as 4K@60Hz resolution, HDR10 compatibility, built-in Clearview™ technology, redundant on-board power, and low-brightness enhancements for great visual performance.
Another strong reason for choosing Christie is the availability of an aftersales service and repair center for LED tiles in its Bangalore office, where qualified technicians carefully restore equipment to working order, extending the life of the products. “This provides clients with a complete peace of mind, knowing that their investments in our LED solutions are backed by industry-leading training, warranties and technical support,” Nayar added.
Clients looking at converting their LED video walls into complete turnkey solutions can add on Christie’s suite of versatile and powerful content management and processing systems. These include the Christie Pandoras Box® family of hardware and software tools for real-time video playback and processing, the Christie Spyder products that can manage and drive up to 4K video content on displays of any size, and the Christie Terra SDVoE solution that enables the transport, processing and control of audiovisual content over 10G Ethernet networks.
