How are we going to do this? We’re glad you asked!
With 65 years in the film industry, we know a few people. Our senior manager of Global Public Relations, Carmen Benyair, used our industry connections to build a robust schedule of webinars – from one-on-one conversations to panel discussions – that bring together some of the most interesting, decorated, and accomplished people in the industry.
While it's hosted by Christie, it’s not about us. “CineSparks is a brand-agnostic chance for a seasoned group of professionals to come together and share their journey and knowledge with people who are new to the cinema industry,” says Carmen. “I’ve had an overwhelming response from partners and professionals who want to lend their support to this initiative, which I’ve been so pleased to see. Knowledge sharing is critical for the longevity of our industry, which is why we’ve made CineSparks absolutely free to attend.”
Presenters from around the world
From Los Angeles to Singapore, London to Toronto, we have the world of cinema covered. “We’re excited to have speakers including Singapore-based director Yee Wei Chai, screenwriter and educator Dirk Blackman, and graduates from the National Film and Television School in the UK,” adds Chris Shu, director of marketing, Christie.
CineSparks speakers come from all corners of the film industry, from exhibition to festival management, post-production, and screenwriting.
